YMCA is here for your community

As a not for profit we're committed to strengthening families and youth development

We’re local

You'll find us at the top of Whangaparaoa, weaved throughout the Auckland suburbs and nestled in the Waikato. With over 20 centres there's a YMCA near you investing back into local communities.

A place for families

From babies to grandparents and everyone in between our programmes offer something for every member of the family.

We’re over 150 years old

Our rich history mirrors the history of New Zealand. Dedicated work over many years has laid the foundation to continue our work reinvesting in local communities, now and for many years to come.

You’re safe with us

Whether they work in outdoors, fitness, swim school or early learning every member of our 600-strong workforce has the relevant accreditation and qualifications for their field.

Out There, Around Here.

Whether its gyms, hostels, swimming pools or camps, we really are out there with locations in Auckland and the Waikato. From babies to grandparents our programmes offer something for every member of the family. Rest assured though, we’re from around here too, reinvesting into the hearts of our local communities.
