We are very pleased and proud to be able to share the exciting news from the NZ Exercise Industry Awards, on the weekend.

New Zealand’s most fit and energetic professionals were awarded for their efforts in helping motivate people to stay healthy and active at the annual New Zealand Exercise Industry Awards. The awards recognise professionals and organisations that have excelled in the fitness industry and demonstrated a notably positive impact on the lives of New Zealanders.

On the 27th September our Auckland Holiday Programme planted our summer vegetable and herb garden. It was just one of the activities to learn about the environment. Come summer we should see some fantastic varieties of herbs, veges and edible flowers for our local community to use and foster. Be sure to keep and eye on the progress as these seeds turn into plants.

She’s on close terms with many of them, and likes to help from month to month, as she can, to ensure that the debt doesn’t pile up.

In lieu of presents from his friends, the eight-year-old from Pt Chevalier, who celebrated his eighth birthday in July, asked them to donate whatever money they wished to go to YMCA Auckland and its special programmes for families and children.
