Not only do we have awesome activities for your child to engage in, we understand that it’s time consuming to make lunches for the whanau – so three times a week, we provide a hot lunchtime meal for your little one, that is both nutritious and delicious.

Our covered play area is a fun and interactive zone for kids with specially selected activities that allow kids to explore different elements such as water and sand, chose individual play or group play and develop essential skills such as communication, sharing and team work.
Our art and craft zone with a wide range of items encourages children to explore their creative side and express themselves through creations. Children explore different elements from drawing to creating both through group and individual projects.
Many children spend considerable time in the Dramatic Play area - stirring, filling, emptying, pouring, shaking, trying things on and taking them off. The Dramatic play introduce not only free-play but roll-playing and imitating roles they see in the home.
Our extensive Library area supports our focus on oral literacy and helps establish lifelong reading habits, promotes love of language and supports primary school readiness. Our book corner is a distinct area with a variety of board books, picture books and early readers with comfortable seating.
Our Construction area contains a range of blocks for kids to build structures with supporting one of the most valuable learning experiences for young children. Construction stimulates learning in all domains of development, intellectual, physical, social, emotional and language. Construction is also extended to our outdoor area with the carpentry table.
Caring for under 2's is a special job and we recognise the unique requirements of our younger children. The under 2's area provides a dedicated zone separating the younger and older children where they can actively explore and develop at their own pace. We also provided additional resources such as change tables and nests for napping.
Our Science, Nature and Numeracy Area celebrates the world around us. Children engage in science whenever they are learning about the world around them. This play allows children to develop a perception of themselves as explores - competent, confident learners who ask questions and make discoveries. Natural resources are gifted from Papatuanuku (Mother Earth) and are fundamental learning experiences. Hands-on experiences with natural materials offer children opportunities to develop theories about how things work in the living, physical and material world.
Our Transition to School Programme work in a close partnership with the local schools in the Massey area through the relationship of the Kahui Ako Programme. Our programme supports and prepare the children and families in their transition to school. Transition to school enables children the opportunity to be confident, competent and capable children who are ready to continue their journey as life long learners who love to learn.
The children attend a gymnatic class twice a week for an hour. At the theses classes the children are learning gymnastic skill which is taught to them by the YMCA Gymnastics instructors.
Our centre has been award the bronze award for our menu and the support we give to family to provide healthy lunch boxes on lunch box days.
We are offering free health checks to help prevent the complications caused by untreated health problems. With your consent, a trained staff member will use IMOKO digital equipment to collect health information about any conditions your child may have. Our staff then sent the information to the IMOKO telehealth team and they give a better idea of what treatment, if any is needed.
A Kahui Ako (community of learning) is a group of education provider working together to help learners achieve their full potential. This group has 5 primary school and 1 high school. Our aim is to improve the engagement, well-being and achievement of every learner across the Kahui Ako.
