Manurewa Early Learning Centre

We understand that choosing the right early learning centre for your child can be a daunting process.

We invite prospective families to do the following:

Centre visit

Our staff will show you around our centre – you can see our facilities, different age range, speak with our teachers and get a feel for how we support the tamariki in our care. We welcome parents and caregivers to come in on their own or to bring your child, or make more than one visit.

Pre-enrolment

Before you enrol, we require your child’s birth certificate and immunisation records.

WINZ subsidies may be available for childcare for eligible families – we can answer questions about what you’ll need to do to apply for a childcare subsidy ahead of time.

Enrolment

At the time of enrolment, as well as completing paperwork, we will spend time to understand your child’s developmental needs as well as information about them so that we can welcome their first steps into the Y family.

We have enrolment forms available on site and our teachers can guide you through the process. To ensure your child receives the best possible care, we require children to be booked in for a minimum of 3 sessions a week. This will result in your child becoming familiar with our routines and form strong bonds with other children and our teachers.

Enrolment process

However before you enrol, we would love for you and your child visit us a few times, so you can find out just how awesome we are. It will also give your little one a chance to meet the staff, make friends, and settle into the centre with ease.
