When you join our Pilates class, you’ll be in for a full-body experience. A Pilates workout emphasises balanced development of bodily strength and flexibility – and through the exercises, you’ll work on core strength, controlled breathing, and greater bodily awareness.

The principles of Pilates are concentration, control, centring, flow, precision and breathing – bring them together, and you have a workout that will push you to better form and strength. At Lagoon Pool & Leisure Centre managed by YMCA, Pilates for is for beginners through to more experienced practitioners – so no matter your background, give a Pilates workout a go!
