Lagoon Pool & Leisure Centre

Service operating information: Lagoon Pool & Leisure Centre LEVEL 1 (starting 8/10/2020)

Operating Hours
We will be operating as normal hours

  • Monday - Thursday: 5:30am-9:00pm
  • Friday: 5:30am-8:00pm
  • Saturday - Sunday: 8:00am-7:00pm


  • All visitors, their children and members have the option to check-in upon arrival.
  • Casual play swimming is available - no booking required

  • Spa is operational and can accommodate everyone 17 and over
  • Sauna will be open

  • Water fountains are operational, we encourage users to fill water bottles as opposed to drinking directly from the fountain.
  • No more limit on swimmers per lane

  • Public changing room facilities will remain open, however
  • Members changing rooms are open


  • The gym will be operating as per Centre hours.
  • All visitors and members must check-in upon arrival using the QR system at point of entry.
  • Please be aware of personal hygiene while making use of the equipment

  • The use of a clean sweat towel is compulsory; and for those that forgot, one can be bought from reception.
  • Sanitising stations, spray bottles and paper towels will be available if and when needed.

​Group Exercise

  • Booking is optional but encouraged.
  • A booking system will be in place to ensure you don’t turn up to a full class
    • Group Exercise classes must be booked by phone (no voice messages) or in person.
    • Email booking requests are accepted but your place is not secure until reception have confirmed.
    • Bookings open the day before the class

  • Walk in-s are welcome on a first come first serve basis. If the class reaches capacity you will be able to make use of the rest of the gym but you will unfortunately not be able to participate in the class.

  • Yoga, Zumba and Pilates at Panmure will be staying across the stadium. Please note: The Panmure Stadium has a new entrance off Domain Road, instructions and a map can be found via this link
  • Floor markings have been made to assist in meeting social distancing guidelines
  • It is recommend members to bring their own group exercise kit where and if needed (e.g. pilates mat, boxing gloves, bands)

Learn to Swim

  • All users have the option to scan in with our check-in QR code, to meet our requirements under health and safety legislation
  • If your/your child is sick and is due to attend a lesson, please stay home and notify swim school.
  • Please take note that we have opened Term 4 bookings for Learn To Swim classes via or (09) 570 9061, extension 2

  • All lessons will be taught with social distancing
  • Parents do not need to be in the pool with their child for toddler (aged 3-5) lessons.
