Glen Innes Pool & Leisure Centre

WHAT IS OPEN: Lap Pool and Leisure pool for LAP swimming/Lane walking from 11 years and over. No casual play allowed. Steam room, Sauna, Spa and Education Pool CLOSED until further notice. Gym and Group Fitness - Members only.

YMCA Glen Innes pool & leisure centre Operating Hours and Protocols.

Under level 2 our facility Operating Hours are as usual.

Monday-Friday: 5.30am - 9.00pm

Saturday-Sunday: 7.00am - 7.30pm

*All Pools, Spa, Steam and Sauna room will close 15 minutes prior to closing to allow time for showers.

CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT PROCEDURE

FOR CONTACT TRACING PURPOSES

  • All patrons NEED to “Swipe Membership Card” and follow additional “Check-in Procedure” using the website
  • https://checkin-19.com/.
  • Mobile data is needed to use the website. We have different area codes displayed at reception for your zonal entry which need to be scanned.
  • Once you “Check-in” – Please show the confirmation screen on your phone to our receptionist on duty before you proceed to the pools.
  • If you arrive at the facility without your phone/have no mobile data – Make sure that you enter your details manually on the sheets provided.
  • When you are leaving the facility – make sure that you “Check-out” on the app or inform reception staff if you have done a manual entry.

GYM

GROUP FITNESS CLASSES

  • All floor classes are limited to 18 participants. Bookings are compulsory for Yoga, Pilates and Power Yoga. Other classes are at first come first served.
  • All Aqua Classes are limited to 25 participants. Bookings are compulsory for Monday 9:15 am, Tuesday 9:30am and Wednesday 9:30am classes only.
  • Bookings are open 1 day before the class.
  • Please ring our fitness trainers on (09) 974-1519 or email y-fitness.gleninnes@ymcaauckland.org.nz to book your spot. Please wait for a reply for confirmation before showing up to classes.
  • If classes are fully booked you will be put on a waiting list and called if a spot becomes available.


GYM EQUIPMENT

  • A 2m distance between cardio equipment has been applied.
  • A 1.5m distance between Machines, benches and workout stations have been applied. Look for marks on the floor.
  • Please stay in your “workout bubble” as much as you can.
  • No sharing equipment at all times.
  • All equipment must be cleaned after the workout.
  • NO TOWEL NO WORKOUT rule will be enforced at all times. Do not use towel to clean equipment.
  • Drinking from water fountain will be disabled. Fill in bottle option only.
  • Please follow staff instructions at all time
  • Be patient, be nice and be kind

AQUATICS

CASUAL SWIMMING

  • Restricted for Lane swimming and walking only. 11 years and over.
  • No kids/casual play time allowed
  • Maximum of 5 people per lane in the lap pool with a distance of 1m apart.
  • No spectators are allowed in the facility during Level 2.

STEAM AND SAUNA ROOM

Closed until further notice

SPA POOL

  • Spa Pool has a “MAXIMUM of 8 PEOPLE” where the markers are placed to ensure safe distancing.

TRI SQUADS

Tri-Squads

  • Tri-squads are back
  • Monday, Wednesday and Friday
  • Morning sessions 5.45am and 7.00am
  • Monday and Wednesday afternoon session 6.30pm
  • Saturday session 7.30am

Maximum of 5 people per lane with 1m Distance in between each swimmer at all time.





SWIMMING LESSONS

TERM 2 - Starts 25th May 2020

  • Swim School members, please check email in regards to Term bookings.
  • Swimming lessons for all levels start Monday 25th May 2020.
  • Term Bookings are open.
