We are looking for a Senior Duty Manager to join our team based at the YMCA Hostel. The role is full time with 40 guaranteed hours per week based on a roster.

What will you be doing?

  • Responsible for managing all aspects of the front office department
  • Recruitment and people management
  • Overlooking the cost structure, hotel revenue generation and quality standards
  • You will have a big focus and impact on the guest experience and employee engagement.

What experience/skills do you need?

  • Hospitality/Hotel/Hostel/Tourism front line customer service management experience
  • Excellent people & communication skills, able to deal with problems and emergency situations
  • Resilient, able to think on your feet and quickly respond and work under pressure
  • Proven administration skills & computer literacy- experience with Guest booking systems
  • Excellent spoken and written English
