Saturday 17th July was the beginning of many birthdays to come for Y-Swim School Eastern Bays. Having been here at Sacred Heart Aquatic Centre for just over a year, it continues to amaze me how quickly this year has gone by, and how well we have settled in after moving from Glen Innes Aquatic Centre last July.
We celebrated our birthday in style with a pool party for all our Swim School families and their friends. The Swim School instructors got stuck in to enjoy organising and participating in fun relay races, musical statues, a sausage sizzle and a free play swim area. It really was a fantastic celebration and what a turn out we had.
The preparations all started on Friday evening where we finished the evening late and out of breath from blowing countless balloons, filling goodie bags for everyone to take home and preparing spot prizes for the day's events. It was all worth it to see the kids enjoying everything so much and it was so successful, we even had new clients signing up on the day for Term 3 lessons.
We look forward to many more future birthday celebrations!
