Zumba® fuses easy to follow moves with infectious Latin music to create a mind blowing fitness workout that will leave you wanting more. Most classes feature interval training, which is a combination of fast and slow rhythms. Some classes include resistance training to tone and sculpt your body so you can create your very own “Zumba® body."

Everyone can have a go at Zumba®, all it takes is a couple of classes to get used to the rhythm, the steps and the instructor. Most of all it's FUN! The Zumba® formula is simple: take a set of basic Latin inspired moves and combine them with fun music. Zumba® incorporates all types of Latin dance moves, merengue, samba, belly dance, cumbia, axe, salsa, hip hop, African and the list goes on!

 

At the YMCA, we have received an overwhelmingly positive response to Zumba® so much so, that we have had to increase the number of classes we hold to match the demand. All of our instructors are Zumba® and REPs registered (Register of Exercise Professionals), so you also know you are in capable hands!
