YMCA Auckland operates 16 facilities, eight of which are through partnerships with local city councils. Our centres provide the community with a vast range of recreational and sport programmes catering to all ages and abilities and include eight fitness clubs, two aquatic facilities, three camps, two accommodation buildings, three licensed early childhood centres, nine indoor stadiums and one equestrian park.
We operate many successful programmes such as learn to swim, youth development, kids activities, as well as being the largest provider of out of school care and recreation (OSCAR) services in New Zealand. Fitness is our largest business unit and we have achieved huge success in 2008 and 2009 by winning more awards at the national fitness awards than any other fitness club provider. Nationally we are also the largest provider of residential camping facilities.
